Very well set up! Had every we needed.

Interesting, comfortable and well-equipped flat amongst Vienna rooftops

Brilliant flat, exactly as in the pictures. Comfortable beds, good showers, fully equiped kitchen, interesting books; all the things you need for it to feel like a home away from home. The flat was really clever architecturally, with great views over the rooftops and with an amazing roof terrace, so it was also like being on an interesting 'doors open' opportunity. Horst was a very helpful host, and popped by to quickly fix something. I loved the little room by the kitchen, and the bed on the stair - perfect for single travellers. The two main bedrooms seemed great for my friends - couples with babies. One cot and one high chair were provided which was perfect for our needs.

What could be improved: The small bathroom door is difficult to close without making some noise, I forgot to mention this to Horst at the time, he probably would have fixed it.
Sometimes the gate on the stairwell is locked and can't be opened from above without the key - I think this mechanism needs changed for fire safety.
As a large group with very different bedtimes we could have done with one more set of keys but we managed!
Overall it was fantatic and I would love to come back - so much more of Vienna to see! Thank you Horst.

An enjoyable city break.

The property is well placed and it was easy to get to other parts of Vienna either by public transport or walking. The WiFi was a reasonable speed and worked thought the property.

What could be improved: For us, everything was fine and we there was not anything we didn’t like.

Great space and location

A private rooftop haven in a central location

The apartment is on a quiet street in the city centre, with great public transport connections to both the city sights (tram lines 0 and 1) and to the airport (when arriving, take the S7 to Praterstern, then tram line 0 to the next stop). Nearby in Praterstern there is a supermarket which is open until 22.00 even on Sundays.

The apartment was exactly as described, with air conditioning, a well-equipped kitchen, good sound proofing, blackout curtains in the downstairs bedrooms, and stunning 360-degree views over the city. Particularly the Prater amusement park rides at night were spectacular!

Horst was an excellent host, with good communication and flexibility with check-in and check-out times (obviously subject to the reservation situation right before and after your stay). His dedication goes down to details such as the highly useful information package we received before our arrival, different colour towels for each guest to avoid mix-ups, and providing binoculars for guests' use. If we ever come back to Vienna, we will definitely stay here again.

What could be improved: The elevator is not very spacious.
