Overview
Well, I’ve got to say, the Rioca Vienna Posto 1 really blew me away. It’s located on 109 Dresdner Straße, in the heart of Brigittenau, which is a district that’s sort of a hidden gem in Vienna. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star hotel, but this place has a rating of 9.1, and it’s totally deserved.
You know what, the first thing that struck me was the check-in experience. It was quick and friendly, and the staff really made an effort to make me feel at home. The lobby had this warm, inviting vibe – you know, that cozy feeling you get when you walk into a really nice coffee shop. And the location is spot on, just a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of the city, but far enough away that it’s peaceful and quiet.
The rooms are really well-appointed, with these huge windows that let in tons of light – the kind that makes you want to just lounge around all day. The beds are super comfy, and the linens are high-quality, you know, the kind that just feel luxurious against your skin. There’s also a really nice restaurant on site, which was a pleasant surprise. The food is actually quite good, and it’s got a great selection of local Austrian dishes.
One thing I really appreciated was the parking situation. It’s not always easy to find a spot in Vienna, but the hotel offers secure parking, which was a huge relief. And honestly, the neighborhood is really cool. There’s this little bakery down the street that makes the most amazing pastries – you’ve got to try their strudel.
In terms of timing, I’d say spring and early fall are probably the best times to visit. The weather is great, and the city is buzzing with activity. But honestly, even in the winter, it’s got a certain charm. The hotel is warm and cozy, and there’s something special about seeing Vienna covered in a blanket of snow.
So, if you’re looking for a place that’s got a bit of everything – comfort, style, and a great location – I’d definitely recommend the Rioca Vienna Posto 1. It’s not just a hotel, it’s an experience.
Early hotels booking in Vienna is essential during major events like the Vienna Festival, as accommodations fill up quickly with visitors eager to experience the city’s renowned classical music scene and coffeehouse culture.

Guest Reviews
Huge size room, clean and with excellent toiletries. Very comfortable. The bar downstairs is very good.
The room was warm and spacious. The Staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the free Coffee and Tea in Reception. The hotel was within easy reach of the Train Station and Trams.
Intresting hotel concept. Easy transport to the centre.
Pleasant location and room
All that was Very Nice
Spacious room, comfortable bed. Good shower
Spacious, clean, friendly staff, lovely bar area
I've spent several weekends in Vienna so far, but this was most balanced place I've ever been. Kind stuff with natural hospitality, nice location, spacious room with many attentive little things. Mobile to screen mirroring is the best ever, ecofriendly attitude. And free quality coffee from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m!
Love our stay here, very clean facilities and accomodating staff. It is close to the train station which made it very convenient for travelling around Vienna. Although it can get a little noisy at night due to the trains passing by but not too bad.
Well appointed and a great co-working space. Many thanks to Jonathan for helping us with a late check in
