Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Vienna

All staff friendly and concierge was very knowledgeable and helpful. A day out in baden using the baden bahn was excellent it's a lovely town and so close to vienna. A day trip to Bratislava is highly recommended we went by train and walked everywhere but you can buy Bratislava day tickets at the main train station in Vienna and the return tickets on the express plus unlimited travel on local transport in Bratislava cost 36euros total for two adults which was great value.

The staff is extraordinary, one of the best I have ever encountered. Hotel has incredible history, situated right next to Vienna opera and has been home of multiple historical personalities across more than 150 years. Place breathes history, but its also incredibly well maintained and I can imagine renovations happen quite frequently. Also room service was excellent.

The hotel is a historic building and the room was really nice. A bit like we live in the past, better times. They have a great bar downstairs and the location is perfect.

In a word: an amazing place. The most attentive, professional and pleasant staff at all stations; the doormen, at the reception, in the restaurant, just everywhere. If you love heritage, tradition and the old school at its best as much as I do, you will absolutely love The Bristol hotel. And you'll like the other guests too - because most of them will be the same. The hotel has a perfect location - but you don't really even want to go anywhere. When you want or need attention, you have it, and when you need just to sit and think, you have a perfect peace. I really felt at home. Plus - the food, served by the nicest staff in wonderful setting, is great; from the delicious breakfast to the lovely dinner. I can't wait for my next trip to Vienna - and I wouldn't stay anywhere else anymore.

Everything! The history of the property made you feel like you were part of the story. The decor and cleanliness of the property were superb and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us.
