The apartment is located near the metro and tram stations, 15 minutes away from the center. Easily to arrive from the airport too. You can find supermarkets around, everything is accesible. Our stay was perfect!
Really close to the metro (U)
I would recommend this apartment. The location in Mariahilf district was perfect and seemed like a safe area. The apartment is on quite a busy road so you can hear traffic with the windows open but when they are closed the soundproofing was very good. There is a metro stop 2 minutes walk away and you can easily get to the main sites in the centre from there. Schonbrunn palace was also really easy to get to on the metro being to the west of the apartment. There were restaurants and grocery shops around - we recommend Don Camillo Italian restaurant. The apartment was easy to get in to with a code and there was a key provided in the apartment to make it easier to come and go. The apartment was very spacious, much bigger than it looks from photos, and was clean and modern. The beds were slightly hard but that is a personal preference. There were all things provided that we would need such as tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries. The bathroom and shower were lovely. I asked a couple of questions in advance and the host responded really quickly and with very helpful information. There is no a/c which is quite common in these old buildings but fans were provided in the bedrooms that worked effectively. Check out was easy as we just left the key in the apartment.
