Great Location & Rooftop — But Bring Your Own Basics
We stayed at HANS-Y Vienna for a few days and overall really enjoyed it — especially for a city trip where you want a bit more than just a bed. Here’s what stood out for us:
Perfect location: Easy walking distance to Belvedere, the train station, and public transport. Vienna felt super accessible from here.
Rooftop wow-factor: The sky pool and rooftop lounge were definitely the highlight for us. Watching the city from the pool was an unexpected treat!
Modern & stylish: The apartment was fresh, spacious, and had everything we needed to cook simple meals. The bed was comfy and there was lots of light.
Friendly staff: The team at reception were helpful and quick to answer questions.
What could be improved: Bring your own basics: We were surprised there was no shower gel, shampoo, or even hand soap. After our arrival we bought our own toiletries — would have been nice to have at least the essentials ready.
Check toilet paper: Ours was never topped up during our stay, so we also bought some ourselves. Not a huge deal but unexpected for this type of apartment.
Bin: There was also no bathroom bin which would have been nice to have.

Just about everything. Big kudos to Thiago at front reception. I hope you know what a valuable employee he is.
What could be improved: That the pool was not heated even though it was advertised as.
