Overview
When I first walked into the Elegant Duplex Danube Canal, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm, contemporary vibe that enveloped the place. Nestled on Lechnerstraße, just a stone’s throw from the stunning Danube Canal, the 4-star hotel offers a unique blend of modern luxury and classic Viennese charm. Honestly, the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made the check-in process a breeze – you know, not that rushed, chaotic feeling you sometimes get in big hotels.
The location is actually quite convenient, just a short stroll from the heart of Landstraße district. I mean, you’re practically around the corner from the iconic Hundertwasserhaus and not far from the bustling Naschmarkt. The neighborhood itself is a mix of local charm and hipster hangouts, so there’s always something happening. The hotel itself is pretty quiet, though, so you can retreat to your room for some peace and tranquility after a day of exploring.
The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with a sleek, modern design that doesn’t feel overdone. You’ll find all the amenities you’d expect from a 4-star hotel, but what sets this place apart is the attention to detail. Little touches like the plush towels and high-quality toiletries make a big difference. Honestly, the bed was so comfortable that I didn’t want to get up in the morning.
Now, if you’re a foodie, you’ll love the breakfast spread here. It’s honestly one of the best I’ve had in Vienna – a mix of local and international dishes that’ll keep you fueled for a day of sightseeing. And if you’re looking for a quiet drink after a long day, the hotel bar is a cozy spot to unwind.
In terms of practicalities, parking can be a bit tricky in this area, so it’s best to ask the staff for advice when you arrive. The hotel is also a bit quieter during the week, so if you’re after a peaceful stay, try to avoid the weekends when it can get a bit busier.
Overall, the Elegant Duplex Danube Canal is a great choice if you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable base in Vienna. With its great location, friendly service, and attention to detail, it’s no wonder it has a rating of 8.5. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a touch of luxury without the stuffy hotel vibe.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Vienna at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous classical concerts and cultural events.

Guest Reviews
Great location, only a couple of stops on the underground from the city centre. Good choice of trams, underground and buses. The apartment was easy to find and access. Accommodation was perfect, brightly decrated, clean, and had everything needed for a short stay. Short walk to the well-used canal if you fancy a walk, run, or cycle. We ate at a couple of the local eateries. If looking for local cuisine, it's a good place to start, I think. My friend and I would both return this property.
Beautiful apartment. Great view. All appliances working perfectly. Amazing balcony. Nice neighbourhood and very well connected by public transportation.
The apartment is and nicely decorated, with comfortable bed and sofa bed. There is a grocery and bakeries at short distance for your daily shopping.
Easy access to the subway, making it convenient to go to downtown, main attractions and airport.

Everything was perfect. The location was great. Next to the metro station. A shop and fast food restaurants was next to the property. Very warm, charming and beautiful place. I'm sure when I visit Vienna next time I'll try to be at the same place!
Everything was nice and clean.
