Overview
You know what, the De Luxe Suite Staatsoper in Vienna is just the kind of place you’d want to hole up in after a long day exploring the city. Tucked away on Opernring, just a stone’s throw from the State Opera House, it’s got this cozy, boutique feel that’s hard to resist. I mean, the name kind of gives it away, doesn’t it? It’s all about luxury and location.
Honestly, the first thing that struck me was the check-in experience. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which sort of set the tone for the rest of my stay. The rooms are spacious and elegantly appointed, with a touch of modern flair. You can really tell they’ve put thought into the design, from the plush bedding to the sleek, contemporary furniture. And the view from the top floors? Stunning. You can see the opera house and the city skyline, which is a pretty amazing backdrop for your morning coffee.
What makes this place special, though, is the attention to detail. Little things like the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, the mini-bar stocked with local treats, and the incredibly comfortable beds. It’s the kind of place where you can really unwind after a day of sightseeing. And you know what else? It’s surprisingly quiet, considering it’s right in the heart of the city. I mean, you’re just a short walk from the bustling Graben and Kohlmarkt, but once you’re back at the hotel, it’s like you’ve stepped into a peaceful oasis.
So, why should you care? Well, if you’re looking for a hotel that feels like a home away from home, with all the luxury and convenience you’d expect from a four-star property, this is your spot. It’s got that perfect balance of being central, yet secluded, and the staff really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone planning a trip to Vienna.
To book a hotel in Vienna during the famous Vienna Opera Ball season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts culture enthusiasts and music lovers from around the world.

Guest Reviews
Very nice apartment closed to the Vienna Opera.
The location is brilliant - within walking distance for all of central Vienna. And for anything further away, the tram is right outside. Check-in was easy, with a code for the door and no key to collect or worry about losing. The accommodation worked well for 2 couples, with enough kitchen equipment for self-catering but also plenty of restaurants nearby. The lift worked well.
The apartment is spacious and beautiful! It’s perfect for 6 people. It’s centrally located and short walk to restaurants, shopping mall, museum, church and strassenbahn.
The location was amazing, across the Opera House. The main attractions were in walking distance! It was a cute and spacious apartment with high ceilings. Eventhough, it was cold outside, the inside of the apartment was nice and warm.
Also, we didn't need to have a physical key to enter the apartment. We entered with a code.
Very clean and spacious apartment right across the street from the opera and multiple public transit nodes. Great spot for families or groups traveling and looking to see the sights and museums downtown.
Full kitchen and dining table. Beds were very comfortable!
An elevator is available.
No parking is provided - but there is a nice garage at the Staatsoper across the street.
The famous Café Sacher is a five minute walk away (recommend making reservations).
Very well located, light spacious.
