I used to live in Vienna in past and this is exactly the type of the old house and the type of flat most of people living in the centre live in. No elevator, huge rooms, colder in winter, very hot in summer, not AC, not very quite as the flat is directly over very noisy road. This is exactly what I expected and what we got. I dont understand why are some people complaining. The price is so low compare to other places in Vienna. On direct tram from the main train station (and other train stations) and very close to the city centre. There is Billa near and kebab and also very good coffee (it is difficult to find a good coffee in Vienna). Yes the place isnt the most modern and I cant imagine to stay there for longer time, but we were 3 families with small kids (5 adults and 3 kids under 3) and we spent most of the time outside, sightseeing, we ate out... When we came back home we appreciated our kids can run around and the rooms are so big there is enough space for everyone and for all our toys.
The main two rooms are really big and full of air and light.
It was very pleasant to communicate with the owner whom we have never seen but they were super nice and helpful. We could come earlier even the flat wasnt ready yet and let our luggages there even before check-in. It was great to be able to go and explore the city without all our things. And the cleaning lady we met was also very nice.

What could be improved: The flat is obviusly older and not super modern or stylish, but the pictures were acurate and we got exactly what we expected. Yes, we could complaine about the noisy road, but the location was really good. Or about the hot weather, but thats the global warming...
The place is not perfect. But for such low price its good.
I would generaly invest more into the renovation. But then the place would not be cheap anymore :-D

Great location and spacious rooms

The place is a great hit. The rooms are huge - even bigger than they appear in the photos. The place has all the basic necessities for a stay - coffee maker, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for each of us (7 people). The biggest plus is certainly the location, which is easily accessible by public transport, but also within walking distance of many of the city's landmarks. We would certainly visit again!

What could be improved: The building is a bit shady and the neighbours were constantly making noise. At times it was a bit disturbing.
As a possible improvement - the apartment only had 1 key and for a large company like ours this was not convenient, but the hosts gave us a code from the safe to keep the key in for ease.
Overall everything was nice and the problems were minor :)

Most of other reviews was not in English. So there are few things that i missed out during booking of this apartment.
Good points:
One tram station away from westbahnhof, easy to commute
One minute away from urban loritz platz station, which was very good
Check in & out was very easy
3 rooms was more than enough, although the sizes may varied
Apartment was really spacious, too much space
Other amenities was sufficient for short stay
Host was responding via whatsapp (very good)

What could be improved: IT WAS AT THIRD FLOOR (3RD FLOOR) I'm not sure how the host get confused while stating its on the 2nd floor.
3rd floor only by stairs, so not advisable for those having large luggages like us.

Internet not working. Even host trying to help to resolve the issue, but it didnt work out (but its fine, at least we still had our sharing mobile data)

Good

It was very clean and very spacious and comfortable beds. Plenty of clean towels and we were able to travel to destinations easily from this point. Vienna is a very beautiful city.

It is very large and spacious. Walking distance to almost all touristic spots to visit in Vienna. There is a shopping mall and many eating places nearby.

Spacious apartment at great location. Perfect for families!

What could be improved: the property is on the second floor (third if you count the mezziane) and there is no lift in the building.
