Overview
Tucked away on Gumpendorferstraße, the 6 rooms hotel is a cozy 4-star gem nestled in the heart of Vienna’s Mariahilf district. Honestly, when I first walked in, I was taken aback by the warmth and charm that radiated from the place. It’s got this boutique feel, you know, with only six rooms, each uniquely designed, making it feel more like a home than a hotel.
The location is sort of perfect, actually. Just a stone’s throw from the bustling Mariahilferstraße, Vienna’s longest shopping street, yet the hotel maintains a peaceful ambiance. You can easily walk to the Naschmarkt, a vibrant market with a mix of food, drinks, and local culture. The hotel’s address, Gumpendorferstraße 22, is a local favorite, and it’s easy to see why. The neighborhood is lively, yet the hotel itself feels like a quiet retreat.
What really stood out to me was the personal touch. The staff, they’re incredibly attentive and friendly. You’ll feel welcomed from the moment you check in, and they’re always ready to offer local tips or help with anything you need. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The beds are super comfortable, and the soundproofing is great, so you can sleep in peace even if you’re in the heart of the city.
I mean, there are a few minor things. Parking can be a bit tricky, but that’s common in Vienna’s city center. And while the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, there are plenty of options nearby. But honestly, these small details didn’t detract from the overall experience. The rating of 9.2 is well-deserved, and it’s clear why people keep coming back.
So, if you’re looking for a hotel that feels like a home away from home, with a team that genuinely cares about your stay, the 6 rooms hotel is definitely worth considering. Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, you’ll find a peaceful retreat in the midst of Vienna’s vibrant city life.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Vienna at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous classical concerts and cultural events.

Guest Reviews
Everything was perfect. Very bright apartment, clean and fresh with everything you need. The location is great, close to supermarkets, attractions and to the Museum Quarter. We had a late night check in and late check out which the hosts kindly allowed us. Thank you
Wonderful host, great communication, interesting place, walkable to everything, fully stocked.
The apartment is beautiful and spacious. It is in a great location (around 15mins to Karlsplatz by walk and 10mins to Mariahilfer Street).
Bed is comfortable and hosts even left us tea, coffee and washing machine tablets to use. Highly recommended.
Great location, easy access to the restaurants. There was Spar supermarket nearby. The kitchen was also well equipped. Hosts were very warm and helpful. reaching main shopping areas like Marihilfer Strasse, St Stephan Cathedral etc were just 10 min walk. Loved staying there. Quite safe as well.
11/10 this property is superb. Spacious with high ceilings and big windows with lots of light. The rooms are large. Heaps of storage in the bedroom. Perfect location for various transport options - tram, u Bahn. It’s up one floor with no lift, but it’s a nice wide staircase. Couldn’t have picked a better property.
The apartment was nice, comfortable, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed our stay there. All the atraction spots where in located in walking distance. Many cafes and restaurants nearby. 100% recoemed to others.
Location
The location was perfect, very close to almost any place. Heating was very good with thermostat. The room was very clean, kitchen was very useful.
Fabulous location, great apartment. Very well equipped.
The building is old, but provided with a lift. We stayed with a toddler and were provided by a child’s chair. Kitchen was full of amenities, nearby were a lot of restaurants, good supermarket, bus stop.
